Doe starts the play complacent, disengaged, and passive. She ends ruffled, focused, and assertive.

David starts the play cocky, confident, and cheerful. He ends ashamed, apologetic, and somber.

Nessa starts the play insulated, certain, and peacful. She ends the play messy, regretful, and mellow.

Sam starts the play guarded and independent. She ends the play frank and giving.

Jim starts the play jumbled, expressive, and breathless. He ends the play centered, childlike, and reflective.
